The Protos Integral Forest forest helmet – THE protective helmet for forest & forestry workers
What makes the Protos® Integral Forest unique is the integral solution. All components have been integrated within the helmet shell, which means that you can no longer get caught on branches, brushwood or other obstacles. The Protos® was specially developed for the forest and is tailored to the most dangerous application. The two-tone color scheme ensures increased visibility and the deep neck shell protects the back of the head from knocks and falls. The ventilation slide not only offers increased comfort, it also acts as an additional bumper in the event of impact before the forces act on the main shell.
Patented solutions such as the etched metal visor, which does not restrict the field of vision, and the integrated hearing protection complete the Protos® Integral Forest.
The Protos® Integral Forest is certified according to EN 397, EN 352-3 and EN 1731.
The forestry sector and its extremely changeable requirements were the starting point for the development of the Protos® integral principle. Since branches and other objects tend to get caught on components of the head protection in the forest, all parts of the Protos®, from the visor to the hearing protection, are integrated and thus it is impossible to get caught. With the certifications according to EN 397, EN 352-3 and EN 1731, the Protos® Integral Forest is the perfect choice for the toughest applications and extreme weather conditions, from wet-cold to dry-hot temperatures. Even when the hearing protection is in a passive position, the Protos® holds the head perfectly.
For safety reasons, the outer helmet shell should be replaced every 5 years (according to the date of manufacture). This is available separately. For hygienic reasons, we recommend washing the main pad regularly and changing it every 2-3 years if used daily.

For the Protos Integral Forest model, only the color combination orange-neon yellow or the single-color models in yellow or orange is tested and approved according to the Board of Trustees for Forest and Forestry (KWF)!
