Our latest innovation bridges the gap between the TR24 and TR30 mechanical felling wedges—in terms of weight, performance, and price. With a stroke length of 56 mm and a weight of just 2.9 kg, it offers the perfect balance of power and maneuverability.
Versatile
Thanks to its wedge pitch being identical to that of the TR24 and TR30 from Forstreich, the TR27-HD is suitable for a wide range of applications – whether for thinner logs or heavy timber. With a lifting capacity of 28 tonnes, it also performs well in final-stage logging operations.
New Design
We’ve further refined the design from Forstreich: The beveled rear edge allows for even better follow-through and ensures smoother handling, while our optimized spring steel plates for the TR27-HD now also feature a laser-etched logo for a stylish touch.
Durable & Reliable
Its true strength lies within: an extremely robust 27-mm spindle with a SW20 wrench size that can handle up to 1,500 Nm of torque. The reinforced counter-bearing provides additional stability—now standard on the TR30-AQ!

For an impact wrench, we recommend the new Milwaukee M18FHIW2F with 1,490 Nm. This combination offers the perfect balance of weight and power.
