Our latest innovation bridges the gap between the TR24 and TR30 mechanical felling wedges—in terms of weight, performance, and price. With a stroke length of 56 mm and a weight of just 2.9 kg, it offers the perfect balance of power and maneuverability.

Thanks to the same wedge pitch as the TR24 and TR30 from Forstreich, the TR27-HD is suitable for a wide range of applications—whether for smaller logs or heavy timber. With a lifting capacity of 24 tons, it also performs well in final-stage logging operations.
New Design
We’ve further refined the design from Forstreich: The beveled rear edge allows for even better follow-through and ensures smoother handling, while our optimized spring steel plates for the TR27-HD now also feature a laser-etched logo for a stylish touch.
Durable & Reliable
Its true strength lies within: an extremely robust 27-mm spindle with a SW20 wrench size that can handle up to 1,500 Nm of torque. The reinforced counter-bearing provides additional stability—now standard on the TR30-AQ!
