Description

The TR24-AQ is a mechanical felling wedge that was specially designed for use with smaller impact wrenches. With a weight of only 1,9 kg, a lifting height of 4 cm and a pressure force of approx. 12 tons, it is ideally suited for cutting medium-strength wood for the harvester or on steep slopes.

Features:

Patented spindle arrangement: this allows us to install a very robust 24mm spindle and still keep the weight low.
Pressure wedge plastic with 18°: compact and easy to change if you do saw into it.
Sturdy spring steel plates with 80mm wide contact surface in the wood
The spindle with low pitch creates an optimal force transmission into the pressure wedge, the angle of the pressure wedge becomes negligible: e.g. the wedge angle 18° to 10° creates arithmetically a force difference of 10%, the pitch of the spindle e.g. pitch 5 to pitch 8 creates a difference in force of over 40%.

For optimal performance and weight we recommend to operate the TR24-AQ with the Milwaukee M18FMTIW2F/P impact wrench with 745Nm . The TR24-AQ weighs in the set with the Milwaukee M18FMTIW2F and a 18V 5 Ah battery a total of only 4.5 kg and can therefore be carried comfortably on the forestry belt.
